Sharing a car? Split expenses fairly according to each person’s trips

Splitfuel is an app for people who share a car. Everyone logs trips, refuels, and shared expenses, and the app calculates how much each person owes according to how much they drove.

Splitfuel is free to download. An optional paid subscription is available in the app through the App Store or Google Play. The subscription is for using Splitfuel — it is not a payment between car partners for fuel or expenses.

Yes. Each person installs Splitfuel and joins the shared car group with an invite code. Everyone in the group sees the same trips, expenses, and balances.

Members record their trips, refuels, and shared expenses. Costs are divided proportionally according to each person’s trips, so everyone pays their fair share. Splitfuel shows the balances — actual payments are made outside the app.

Data is stored securely on Firebase. We don’t sell your information. You can delete your account instantly in the app (Profile → Group and account → Delete account). Trip and expense history stays with the car group for the remaining members.
